As I took my first steps into the world, I found myself with empty hands and little knowledge of
programming. But in 2016, I had a wild idea that I never thought I would act on - quitting college in my
second year to pursue a different path. And so it began, the journey of building my own career from the
ground up, with nothing but my determination and a thirst for knowledge to guide me. Today, I stand as a
proud self-made success story, grateful for the lessons learned and the obstacles overcome along the
way.
From zero to hero.
As a highly experienced web developer, I have spent many years honing my skills in programming. I am an expert in a range of libraries and front-end frameworks, including ReactJS, VanillaJS, and Jquery (although the latter is not my strongest area, I can still work with it smoothly).
In addition, I have extensive experience working with NodeJs (ExpressJs) and databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB, leveraging these technologies to develop robust RestfulAPIs and GraphQL.
I take pride in my work and approach each project with a high level of responsibility, ensuring that the code I write is clean, efficient, and easy for successors to understand and build upon.
Trade finance platform in Israel
With a strong foothold in the market, the platform specializes in offering
innovative financial services to facilitate international trade transactions.
It provides a comprehensive range of trade finance solutions, including
letters of credit, documentary collections, and customized trade financing
options to cater to the specific requirements of businesses engaged in
import and export activities. Trade Finance Platform is recognized for its
expertise in mitigating risks associated with global trade, empowering
companies to expand their global presence and optimize their supply
chains. By offering robust financial solutions, the platform plays a crucial
role in supporting and enhancing trade activities in Israel.
My main role in the team is fullstack dev, developing new features for
frontend side and creating/maintaining APIs in Nodejs and Java systems.
Virtual bank by Standard Chartered in Hong Kong
In my previous role, I had the opportunity to work as a web developer
on a virtual bank project for a financial services company. As a key
member of the development team, I was responsible for designing and
implementing various web-based features of the digital banking platform,
including online account management, bill payment, and transaction
tracking. Working closely with cross-functional teams of developers,
product managers, and business analysts, I utilized my expertise in web
development and financial services to help deliver a seamless and secure
banking experience for customers.
Fitness management
I contributed to the development of a web application for fitness center management, joining the
project in July 2019 and completing it in April 2020. As the primary frontend developer, I worked to
create and update the UI/UX for the client, utilizing a range of programming languages including
JavaScript and TypeScript. Throughout the project, I collaborated closely with the development team
and the client to ensure that the application met their unique needs and exceeded their expectations.
With my contributions, we were able to deliver a user-friendly and efficient solution for managing
fitness center operations.
Virtual bank by Standard Chartered in Hong Kong
I worked as a full-stack web developer on a virtual bank project based in Hong Kong, utilizing my
expertise in ReactJS, NodeJS with Express, and DynamoDB. I joined the project in May 2020 and was
responsible for designing and implementing both the frontend and backend components of the
application. Using ReactJS, I developed user interfaces that were both user-friendly and efficient,
while also leveraging NodeJS with Express to build the server-side logic. Additionally, I utilized
DynamoDB to ensure that the application's data was well-organized and easily accessible. With my
technical skills and experience, I worked closely with the development team to deliver a high-quality
solution that met the unique needs of the client and their customers.
Online study site
I contributed to a project for a client in France, where my primary responsibility was to enhance the
functionality of their management site for admins. Leveraging my technical expertise and experience in
web development, I worked to implement new features and functions, ensuring that the site was
efficient, user-friendly, and met the client's unique needs. Throughout the project, I collaborated
closely with the development team, utilizing agile methodologies to ensure that all tasks were
completed on time and to a high degree of quality.
Internal Forecast
This project was an employee management tool developed by my company that used Jira APIs to retrieve
data. As the main front-end developer, I utilized VueJs templates to create a user-friendly and
efficient interface for managing employee data. Over the course of the project, I leveraged my
technical expertise in front-end development to ensure that the tool met the unique needs of our
company and delivered a high degree of functionality and usability. With my contributions, we were
able to deliver a successful product that streamlined our internal processes and improved our overall
productivity.
Laava
I was thrilled to join a project for an Australian client where my primary responsibility was to
develop a new website for creating and updating screens for their mobile app. Over the course of 2.5
months, I worked with the team to create a fully functional website with a wide range of features.
Leveraging my expertise in web development, I created a custom color picker component and applied
logic to the webpage to ensure that it was both user-friendly and efficient. I collaborated with the
team to refactor and clean up the codebase, resulting in a well-organized and maintainable solution.
Our collective efforts enabled us to deliver a high-quality HTML/CSS editor for mobile screens that
exceeded the client's expectations and met their unique needs.
As a member of a dynamic startup environment, I was excited to join a team working on a product under the same name as the company. Our goal was to enhance the functionality of the website, and to do so, we re-wrote the entire codebase from JavaScript to TypeScript.
For the project, we used a cutting-edge tech stack, including ReactJS for the front-end, NextJS for server-side rendering, and GraphQL for efficient CRUD operations on our database. One of my primary contributions to the project was creating a dedicated management site for admin use only, using ReactJS, NextJS, and GraphQL. By leveraging my expertise in these technologies, I was able to deliver a high-quality and user-friendly solution that met the unique needs of our team and our clients.
I had the opportunity to learn and apply a range of new skills. In particular, I developed my proficiency in JavaScript, including NodeJS and ReactJS, as well as HTML and CSS, with the goal of becoming a skilled front-end developer. Working on this project, I collaborated closely with a talented team of designers and mobile lead developers to create an engaging and effective landing page. Over the course of three months, from September 12th to November 10th, 2017, I leveraged their guidance and support to complete the project successfully.
In my most recent project, I had the opportunity to collaborate closely with Java developers to create a website for managing products in fast-food stores. As one of the main developers, I took responsibility for developing the front-end of the website using ReactJS and Redux state management. Leveraging my experience and expertise, I helped to ensure that the website was functional, user-friendly, and efficient, meeting the needs of both customers and store managers.
